One-Click Aspect Ratio Switch (9:16 ↔ 16:9) Button in Sequence Settings

I wanted to share an idea that I think would make life a lot easier for editors who constantly switch between vertical and horizontal formats.

When editing for different platforms (YouTube, TikTok, Reels, Shorts, etc.), I often need to change the aspect ratio of my sequence from 16:9 to 9:16 — and right now, it’s a bit of a hassle. You have to go into Sequence Settings, manually swap the width and height, then fix scaling and reposition clips afterward.

It would be awesome if there was a simple “switch arrow” button right in the Sequence Settings window — in the middle of the horizontal and vertical boxes where we set frame size (for example, between 1920 and 1080). Clicking that button could instantly flip the aspect ratio — from landscape to portrait or vice versa — without having to retype numbers.
