Option to "hide" Sync Settings Button and UI Tips Bar

Hello there. Is there a way to hide the "sync settings" button and bar from the bottom of my workspace?

I would very much like to be able to use that bit of space (which runs the entire width of the UI) for a plethora of other things. That, by a far extent, have inherently higher priority and functionality than the minute increase in any convenience, this icon and the oversized bar in which it solely resides, can provide when accessing the sync settings. I completely fail to comprehend why a 4 x 3 mm sync-settings icon requires an unmovable bar of 615 x 5 mm that cannot be resized or hidden in order to function, in any conceivable sense of the word. Why?

If we get the option to hide the tooltips, that'd be the cleanest option IMO.

Hello @Kevin-Monahan and @nishu_kush ,

Since User Voices is no longer and requests are now managed here (as far as I understand it): is there any chance for this to become a thing? It's kind of ridiculous like @chrisl41309234 mentioned that a button that's so tiny is mandatorily taking up so much space without a chance to remove it (at least I have not found it yet).

Especially on laptop screens this is really space I could use much better otherwise - considering now there are a bunch of buttons like this at the top right where this Cloud Sync button would fit nicely if it is necessary to put it somewhere else.

P.S.: I do think that this thread/request needs a renaming… cause the current "remove/hide from workspace" is really not saying anything.

Happy Holidays brother! Thanks for the bump on the request. We don't have User Voice anymore, but we do have the "Ideas" forum. I can move this post there. I can also change the title so we can get more upvotes.

Unfortunately, the bar at the bottom of the UI still has a function: UI tips. These appear even if tool tips are disabled in Settings/Preferences. I can see why you want the option to remove the bar to gain a bit more space.

With that, I'll move the post to ideas, I'll change the title, and advocate for the change in UI. I think it would be a great option. Maybe tie it to tool tips. If it's disabled, so is the bar.

How does that sound?
