Overhaul captioning workflow

Captioning in Premiere is incredibly slow, cumbersome, buggy l, unintuitive and frankly just lagging behind all other apps.  I tested an NLE a random Redditor vibe coded and it did captioning better than Premiere. It's also insane that a slight change in captionih requires completely re rendering the timeline. It's just a mess and it needs to be better.

    @real_5081,

    I rarely see the degree of problems you are seeing unless there is a bug. But I agree there is a lot of room for improvement. I’m not sure what you mean regarding the rendering. Is the slight change something that affects many captions that are being burned in?

    Regarding speed and accuracy see this announcement in the Beta forum:

    Transcription isn't really the problem. It's about as good as I'd expect. I'm saying the whole captionih workflow is complete garbage and when you can create more professional looking captions quicker and easier in free apps then Adobe is clearly under delivering.

    Yes, sorry, I was just posting that as the context for continuing changes in the program. I agree that there are many areas for improvements.

    I did not understand this: “a slight change in captioning requires completely re rendering the timeline.” I don’t think I see this.
