Just updated to Premiere Pro V25.

I can't seam to change the UI font size anymore.

This should have been in the Preferences years ago.

Any work around???

Previously I could (perform an unsupported workaround)

I have a 4k moniter and the product is not useable as the text is so tiny

Please get this fixed ASAP. Old eyes don't work with such ridiculously small fonts.

Mod note: References to internal tools were removed.

Can this feautre be reinstated, as the new interface's UI font size is very small?

Either this, or provide an in-software way to adjust the Global UI altogether, from an accessibility perspective.

UI has been changed significant. Setting in (Adobe internal engineering tools) won't be re-instated.

That's why it's important to match your 'high resolution' monitor with the the right pixel size. If the pixel size is too small (ie: it will be if you have a hi-res monitor that's not physically large enough), you'll have problems, especially with 'older eyes'. For me, I can't go beyond 2560x1400 with a 32" monitor. I'd need at least 40" to move to UHD.

When you use OS screen scaling, you are essentially dumbing down (reducing the resolution) of your very high-res monitor.

I just upgraded and found the UI font to be oh-so-small.  Has anyone else run into this, and is there a workout or new location for this setting?  Thanks!

The Entire UI has changed, so has the font.

No way around this.

Ann - you made me sad.

But... thanks.

It's possible to increase the DPI scaling for Windows but doesn't affect Premiere really.

dagmarillo, if you're on the mac, you can map "zoom" to control scroll wheel and zoom in where ever your cursor is.  Not an ideal solution, but might help...  Not sure if there's something in windows to do the same thing.

Seems they are all gone.

Does not seem to be any workaround but setting scale in the OS.

Please let me know how can I do it (increase font size) in the new version because the small UI text size is stressing my eyes, and I am sure it's a big problem for every user.

Hello @yuvrajp736,

Thanks for the message. Unfortunately, this is not a bug but a feature request. You had previously changed the fonts using an engineering tool, which is only for internal use.

Since then, the UI has been completely rebuilt, so the internal "feature" you found is likely no longer there. Please create a feature request or upvote an existing one to have this feature once more. I upvoted. Sorry for the frustration.

Thanks,
Kevin

The public beta has text brightness options. That's now the "new" 25.x series that will probably "ship" around the first day of Adobe's MAX conference as it has the last several years.

Everyone's mileage always varies ...

I can't find a way to increase the brightness of the interface fonts. Even the special features of Windows do not allow you to do this. Why is it possible to change only the brightness of the background in the apperance settings, but not the fonts? I find the fonts quite dim and would like to find a way to influence this. Thank you.
