@MyerPj Thank you for the sense of humor. I prefer to run these types of programs on the larger of the three monitors. The font size and viewability remain, even on the smaller 27" or 34" monitors shown in my workspace below,  When multitasking and requiring ample operational space, someone spending as much as we do on Adobe subscriptions (Creative Cloud Pro), we should expect compatibility with both legacy and modern hardware and components.

The issues with the Adobe workspace UI, font size, and available visual configuration settings have been around for a long time, even before I needed to wear reading glasses for everyday tasks (aging sucks). Adobe has ignored its users for too long regarding this issue. Today, I finally reached the point of frustration where I felt compelled to add my voice to others' complaints.

Hey @Salva Veritate - do preserve 'the truth', and thanks for the mention! 🙂

Samsung advertises this with your monitor:

It'd be better to have larger, less 'densly packed' pixels, for a monitor used in PP, IMO. Interesting monitor too. 5120x1440. My two 32" also Samsung monitors (love them) equal that, so ie: a 64" monitor compared to your 49".

The pixels in my monitor are bigger (and by necessity 'less densly packed') at 91 PPI, your monitor crams them together, er 'densly packs' them at 109 PPI so everything gets visibly smaller.

A long time ago, during the analog monitor days, I quickly realized pixel pitch is really what is needed, especially to run at 100% in the OS, which I always do. So, one of the first things I look for in a monitor is the size of the pixels. I need about a .270mm (ish) pixel size, your monitor has .234mm pixels. It makes a difference.

So, the post is for general information. It's really something you should look out for when purchasing a rig. Just like what @R Neil Haugen said. You really need something that works as a whole with consideration to the other tools you use.

Cheers.

PS: I'm trying to loose some weight, any suggestions? 🙂

It's always good to develop multiple paths. I've used Resolve for years personally. But then I teach Resolve users to work and grade in Premiere, and how to use say Tangent panels in Resolve.

I dislike their UI, both the layout abd the rigidity that doesn't allow users to do any serious rearranging as you can in Premiere.  As well as I still struggle to remember where a ton of their submenus are buried/hidden around the app.

But good friends think it's the most intuitive UI ever ... so we view it from 180 degree different angles. But that's fine. Everyone's mileage always varies.

I totally get the frustration as this is an issue I and many others talk with the devs about at NAB year after year. And I agree, there should have been a change long ago.

That said, MyerPj's comments were simply a totally practical comment for how to save your eyes and sanity at this time with the limitations of the app.

In some ways it's not dissimilar though, to buying an Intel KF CPU, and complaining about lack of H.264 hardware encoding. That COU specifically doesn't have the hardware inside that other Intel CPUs do.

I'm on my 4th desktop built for Premiere working. This one also had use in Resolve as a consideration for the parts. I intentionally worked with a company that has done extensive testing of hardware and media in tge various video post apps.

Similar to that, i select monitors based on the apps I'm using. My UHD monitor is never used for any UI type thing, only transmit out/clean-feed use. My other monitors were chosen to fit within Premiere's limits. My main UI monitor is an LG Ultrawide 2560x1080.

I can still read the blasted text with it.

I must admit I’ve got fed up waiting for this to be fixed - so I’ve done two things:

1. Rolled back to the 2024 version - where I can change the font size

2. Keep learning how to use Resolve, which is actually a really nice user experience - and no need for dynamic link…

Of course, I still feel more at home in P Pro, but I can’t wait forever and I now know how to use two systems well

I agree that the inability to adjust the UI in Adobe products, and Premiere Pro 2025 is no exception, is highly frustrating. How does this issue persist for so many years despite numerous complaints? NOTE: This is as respectful as I can be at the moment, as I'm wasting time posting this comment out of frustration instead of working on a project I need to finish.

I'm using a Samsung Odyssey G95SC 49" monitor, 3840 x 1080, at 120 Hz. The program is nearly unusable, as I have to squint or use reading glasses. The horrible UI color choices and microscopic fonts cause me to wonder why I continue to use this product.

  • The small font size and compressed UI slow production.
  • The small, unreadable fonts strain the users' eyes.
  • The UI is already complicated. Did Adobe engineers discuss ways to increase the difficulty of use, deciding to minaturize fonts and condense the UI? They certainly haven't made it easier.
  • The ridiculous comment from @MyerPj, suggesting the purchase of a lower resolution monitor, begs the question of how this person is considered a community expert. I'm at 3080 x 1080, and the font is too small. It is completely unreadable at any higher resolution. We should all be thankful this person doesn't offer weight loss advice, for we could expect something similar to, "just don't eat or drink anything until reaching the desired weight."

Although @Francis-Crossman responded to this issue nearly eight months ago, acknowledging that it is a long-standing, many-year-old complaint, what has been done to resolve it?

It's already been half a year since your promise. You're talking about we shouldn't have known about this feature, but IT WORKED. At our risk. It was very helpful. Now you've broken it and you're not giving me a tool to fix it!

The interface font premiere 2025 is too small for my eyes, but I haven't found a way to resize it!

This is a very very bad decision by adobe!!!

I cannot change the resolution of my 4K monitor or the font in the system, as this affects all other tasks. Explain to me how to change the font size of the interface Premiere 2025 to my preferences?

Many words have been written, but where is the solution,XXXXXXXXXXX

A completely wrong decision. Why take away something so useful? What exactly did this change make better in Premiere? It definitely made things significantly more inconvenient.
