Well, I´m using a 48" LG C4 as editing monitor, and all my edits are in HDR 4K and I have the best display that I can imagine, but even so I NEED to scale the UI of Premiere. I have installed the 2025 version but working with the 2024 version "with the trick" because I CANNOT SEE THE UI.

Are you using any OS screen scaling?

No - as Premiere Pro is the only app which strains my eyes…

Don't forget, there's always your ability to purchase a lower resolution monitor. Say you want a 32" monitor, instead of buying that new 4K monitor you've been looking at, go with a beautiful QHD - 2560 x 1440 instead. The pixel sizes will be bigger than in the 4k monitor. You'll save some $$$ and have a monitor you can run at 100%.

How you implement anything is naturally going to be seen by different people as to it's "usability". So I can see the devs feeling that for the vast majority of users they have implemented a correct situation.

I don't agree that is the decision I would want. But I can distinguish between my views and what others may see. We are all different. Period.

Some things that one user thinks are clearly necessary for all users are things other users never want to see at all. Again, we are all different.

So no, it isn't that they aren't aware of an issue, it's that they don't see the same 'result' as you. And me.

And that is what we need to convince them to allow the change for.

User interface font size is one of the most basic elements of any software and should be the highest priority.

All software companies drop features as the hardware, OS etc evolve that they no longer feel they can support dependably.   Happy to provide chapter and verse if anyone wants to hear them.  Just consider all the bugs that are reported after a new version of Premiere is released.  Adobe can't thoroughly test the program on all the possible variations of hardware, OS and other installed programs.

This needs constant repeating.   Keeping the conversation here as civil as possible is very important and often seems to fall by the wayside.   And I truly appreciate the contributions that the adobe team makes here.    Not sure it's still the case, but in the days of fcp 1-7, there was NO overt participation by apple in the user forum.

Neither "view" is more accurate or based in reality. Look at the incredibly massive overhaul of Premiere color management, accomplished in less than one build cycle. Along with many other changes.

A lot of users seem to miss one glaringly obvious concept. Like any other organization of humans, Adobe does stuff based on a priorities listing. It's how you get stuff done in groups. As someone who's had my own business for over 40 years, with at times a fair number of employees, priorities were always crucial to keeping everyone on a useful, similar path.

Am I frustrated by the font size thing? Font color? And also, the weird way they code use of mulitple monitors? Just their visual UI in general? Oh, heck yes. I've talked with staffers at NAB about it for a decade now.

So user input helps to shape that priorities list. User input is one of the data points on designating priorities. Once things get high enough on it, boom, they happen.

We just want this up higher ...

Curious, just how many upvotes will it take for Adobe to really prioritize this? Or does your team respond better to shaming from the visually impaired community you continue to ignore? At this point the improvements should already be in the Beta, right? Can anyone using beta confirm?
