Does anyone know what version of Premier I have to revert to so the UI font can be bigger?

I am glad to hear Adobe is working on the UI font size issue.  I didn't love the workaround, but it was much better than nothing.  I really hope you can offer a way to up the font size as soon as possible.

Not sure it's still the case, but in the days of fcp 1-7, there was NO overt participation by apple in the user forum.

Not on the Apple FCP forum, but on 2-pop.com, there was Ralph Fairweather, a great man who I model my Adobe support career after. Tom Wolsky was the man on the Apple forums, but he came from the community. He wrote some books on the topic. Nice guy too. I wonder how he's doing?

The leader of the LACPUG is stepping down in June; it's the end of an era. Ralph presented at the first meeting. I was there. It was awesome.

I have little faith that this will be addressed, but here goes.
What the hell happened to the UI size customisation?
the icons and font is so tiny especially on 4K monitors!
I just upgraded to new versiopn and this is no longer an option. Adobe support was not able to really help to make iot much bigger.
Adobe?? I need to see the UI to be able to work!

You obviously didn't search the forum before posting. There have been a ton of threads on the subject. Including some Idea posts with staffers comments added in.

You might want to look around a bit.

Well, I´m using a 48" LG C4 as editing monitor, and all my edits are in HDR 4K and I have the best display that I can imagine, but even so I NEED to scale the UI of Premiere. I have installed the 2025 version but working with the 2024 version "with the trick" because I CANNOT SEE THE UI.

Are you using any OS screen scaling?

No - as Premiere Pro is the only app which strains my eyes…

Don't forget, there's always your ability to purchase a lower resolution monitor. Say you want a 32" monitor, instead of buying that new 4K monitor you've been looking at, go with a beautiful QHD - 2560 x 1440 instead. The pixel sizes will be bigger than in the 4k monitor. You'll save some $$$ and have a monitor you can run at 100%.

How you implement anything is naturally going to be seen by different people as to it's "usability". So I can see the devs feeling that for the vast majority of users they have implemented a correct situation.

I don't agree that is the decision I would want. But I can distinguish between my views and what others may see. We are all different. Period.

Some things that one user thinks are clearly necessary for all users are things other users never want to see at all. Again, we are all different.

So no, it isn't that they aren't aware of an issue, it's that they don't see the same 'result' as you. And me.

And that is what we need to convince them to allow the change for.
