Peak Files

If possible, could Premiere be 'encouraged' to prioritize the audio track in the active sequence to generate peak files for, instead of whatever priority it inherently has? I can sometimes force it to that track if I start an export, but when editing a compilation of oral histories, it can be quite a wait.
