Playhead Follows Selection (not the other way around)

Hello,

How can I automatically move the playhead to the start of the clip selected, so that I can select clips and edit the correct texts, play back the clip and so on. As a point of reference, this work flawlessly in Avid Pro Tools. Thanks!

Yes, Playhead goes to In of the selected clip. Thanks!

Would it be correct to say that the feature request is "Selection goes to In"?

Thanks, however that's not the use case in question. Automatically: Every time the user selects a clip on the Sequencer.

If using a standard Apple keyboard, fn + left arrow is Home.

Shift + I (Go to In) should work for what you would like to do.

Thanks, however I'm  not referring to Key commands for this use case. Automatically: Every time the user selects a clip on the Sequencer. Like on audio programs such as Avid Pro Tools that have figured out the sequencer features decades ago. Premiere doesn't even officially label it as a sequencer, but that's what it is.

I am on Windows.

Type in : go to the selected clip start.

How would you make that automatically? There is also a kbsc for: go to selected clip end............

Ttanks, however that's not automatically... (and there's no Home key on Mac).
