Pls add AI background remover for videos in Premiere Pro as Runways does

It would help a lot of content creators to be able to quickly remove the background on their videos (without long masking programming). A small company called Runway does this, maybe Adobe can just acquire them if they can't build the functionality?

Thanks!

As someone who has a RunwayML subscription, the background remover can be hit or miss. There have been a few times where I had to take the matte it generated and refine with AE matte tools for better extraction. Does Rotobrush need a speed enhancement? Yes and I believe something will come of it before end of year

I totally understand.

But with some years of working with these apps, there's some past behaviors noted. For instance, they don't seem too quick to add a real spiffy version of an effect if it is already available in a "companion" app.

Such as ... many effects exist at a far higher "capability" in either AfterEffects or Audition, than the similar effect in Premiere. And although a few of the Premiere effect versions have, over time, been uplifted closer to the "real" effect elsewhere ... it's not been that common a thing.

So yes, I've happily upvoted your suggestion ... I would love that also!

And ... for today, know that Ae is where you just gotta go.

Thanks for the reply. Yes, am aware of After Effects, but cannot afford the additional subscription and also it's too time-consuming. Runway lets you do this with a few clicks of the mouse... This ease-of-use would be of great value to time-strapped content creators and bolster Adobe in the marketplace too, so it would be a win-win.

Not to downplay your suggestion ... but as a practical, what you can do todya thing, you might check out AfterEffects, for that stuff. It's got more heavy-duty effects.
