Possible to combine the audio and video tracks panels?

I find it pretty awkward how the video and audio tracks are in their own separate panels with two different scrollbars working independantly.

Is it possible to have all the video + audio in just one panel? I know it would mean more scrolling up / down overall, but I'd find it a lot easier than having two scrollbars

As a Premiere Pro editor I'd love to see the ability to view the audio waveform directly in the Source Monitor alongside the video, similar to how Final Cut Pro handles this. Being able to scrub through footage and see the waveform at the same time makes finding specific audio moments significantly faster and more intuitive — especially when cutting dialogue or music-driven edits. This would be a huge workflow improvement and would bring Premiere Pro in line with what editors already love about Final Cut. Would love to see this on the roadmap!

This would be great. Especially during a forced transition from Kdenlive. It really has a lot of intuitive aspects that I wish were in Premier Pro.

Hi M35474498q9wm,

Currently, it's not possible to have both video and audio tracks under one scrollbar. You may submit a feature request with your UI suggestions at our Ideas page. The more upvotes we get on a request, the higher the chance of it being implemented.

Thanks,

Sumeet

Don't think this is ever going to be implemented.

Have you tried Ctrl+scroll instead of using the scroll bars or alt scroll the header or double-clicking on the header to change track height.
