Premiere Pro: move markers WITH the footage?

First of all I know there are Ripple sequence markers and Copy and Paste includes sequence markers checkboxes in the Markers menu. They somehow don't work in my cases.

Before doing the editing job I always make a barebone project in order to send it to a client via the frame.io. Every part of the barebone has markers with explanations and different info. Then when I start editing I may move the whole project within the timeline, rearrange different parts of it. At this point the markers I have previously placed onto the timeline never change their position with the corresponding parts of the sequence. This mechanism of linking the markers to the footage is either broken or it needs to be redone. So with every material rearrangement I always have to move the corresponding markers by hand as well. May this be fixed? Premiere Pro 24.6.1

Hi,
I'll move your feature request to the Ideas forum. I apologize that markers are not behaving as desired. I hope the product team will consider your idea. Take care.

Thanks,
Kevin

Well I described the problem above, my clients don't have time to sweep through black videos, I don't have time to play Tetris with those markers - they are useless at that point. If not a bug, markers definitely should be updated to meet modern requirtements.

Stop trying to edit and EDIT!

Its not a bug.

You need to ripple the clips not move the clips to get the markers to follow along.

To ripple use the ripple trim tool or, insert an e.g. black video: that will shift everything to the right.

In your example you did not copy/paste but rather cut/paste the clips.
