We are using the program window both for editing and watching/monitoring. It is more efficient than using the playback second window because program window lets you to control and work on it. However, this window cannot be minimized and you have to move or resize it everytime you need to check something in the background. We need the ability to minimize for the program window.

Can you explain how you want to minimise the Program Monitor panel? Did you make it floating?

    Can you share some screenshots?

Attached are the screenshots of two pc monitors I use. One monitor has all the control panels and the second is the program monitor window which I use for doing the graphics, blur, scale, color etc. (that’s why I need to see it bigger.) On the top right, there is only x icon which closes the panel but no minimize option so when I need to use the desktop behind (which I frequently use), I have to minimize the Premiere completely or move or resize the program monitor panel. When panels float, I know they don’t have  minimizing feature but others are used in small sizes already and that is enough in general. However, program monitor is used full size as big as the monitor for practical reasons.

So, I am just asking whether it is possible to add a minimize feature to the program monitor instead of minimizing all Premiere program.

    Thanks.

You are right. There is no way to minimise the panel. Even the panel pop-up menu, doesn’t have an option to minimise it
