Project Manager still awful, no OMF or decent AAF support

Why does Premiere still not have the above issues sorted?

The Project Manager is known to be awful in the industry - and has been for years - yet it never improves? Still no ability to import OMFs and AAF only works on a convert to mono basis - why can it not just embed what is on the timeline? When there are last minute changes to 3TB projects which you don't have the rushes for and all of the above are not as useful as they could be, it just makes life more difficult than it needs to be.
