Project tab keeps moving everytime

I set it to be the first tab and suddenly it's the last one. I have 'Import Workspace from Project' turned off, so that isn't the issue.

The worst part is that the order can't be determined by switching to your desired workspace, it just doesn't record the order of the project tab, -THE MOST IMPORTANT ONE-

I'm sick and tired of manually dragging it back to the first place.

I always have a panel group on my left monitor which is where my Production, all opened projects, and the Effects bin are located. In eight different saved workspaces.

Every couple of times on launch, a random project opens in that main UI window lower left quadrant panel.

I drag it back. Next time, or a time later, a different project will appear there.

Irritating.

Upvoted.

I also find this annoying.

But I recognize that it is complicated: there is no SINGLE Project Panel or Project Panel tab. There's one for each project.

And it, of course, depends on whether you are saving the workspace with the project (which I assume most of us are).

I just played with dragging the solo Project Panel out to its own panel group, and creating a  custom workspace. I doubt I'll use this, but I wonder how a new feature in this area would work.

Premiere tends to remember the Project panel location sort of if you make custom workspaces. Saved of course.

But even then, it will routinely move one or more projects back into the main UI panel group's lower left quadrant.

It has FOR YEARS, and I harp at the devs every NAB about it. One major "little" irriatation.

It's odd because Premiere should remember the position (and order) of the panels (it does for me)...

When is it happening?
