RAW TAB FOR SONY BURANO ( XOCN)

So I have switched over to the Sony Burano to shoot raw, and to my surprise, there is no raw pannel like ARRIRAW or R3D. Resolve has the functionality, but I am Premiere through and through. Can you all please please please add that functionality. This will be a popular camera with the sony Venice so Access to those tools are paramount.

    This is something Premiere really needs. An NLE that doesn't support the footage from Sony's flagship cinema cameras is problematic. I've been advocating for Sony RAW in Premiere since the F5/55 and we still don't have it. Premiere already offers the color space transforms, so why not the other RAW functionality?

      Awesome!!!! Thank you for replying, so I am coming from RED, so think of my process like editing a raw photo in Camera Raw. I love love love!! How did you all implement the RED tab? If we could get something even 50% of that. I would be happy. Id like to say on Premiere and not jump ship.

      Hello all. Yes the additional access to Sony Raw camera data mentioned would be of major benefit to all Sony users who currently only have the option of utilizing Davinci for this purpose. Update please 🤗

      @othellob51362586 Better support for X-OCN is something we're currently investigating. Specifically, the addition of: 

      • Temperature
      • Tint
      • Exposure
      • Cine EI information

      Is that what you're looking for? Also, I'd be interested to hear more about your workflow and how you'd find these controls (or others) valuble. Happy to get on a phone call if that's easier.
