Reorder / Rearrange Video and Audio Tracks

It would be amazing to simply grab a track and move it up or down in the order of the sequence. This was something I could do easily back when I used Vegas Pro. Occasionally, I have big, complex sequences and would like to reorder the tracks for organization purposes or for shipping off to audio master. Thanks!

It was requested in 2018, so far in 2021 this feature isn't implemented yet

It’s unbelievable that we have to ask for this feature. About to leave and go to Resolve.

Really?
Premiere guys, just walk to the next room and borrow this feature from After Effects! Such a pain...

Frustrating only begins to describe the effect of the lack of this feature. The break between Video and Audio tracks also needs to be optional. In general, visualization and layout are very personal to the workflow of not only every editor but every project. Lack of customization in the timeline seems rigid and this, with what appears to be a lack of a valid reason for this rigid, non—user-responsive approach.

Been yelling about this for over three years now. And over those years have started doing more and more projects in Resolve. As of 2021 I no longer recommend Premiere to my students, because of Adobe's inability to properly document its software or address basic functional features like this.

Like with after effects or about any other Adobe program, I'd also like to be able to drag a track (i.e., Layer), including the clips therein, up or down to a different position to organize or to even temporarily aid in a task. Jennifer is right, folks, are you listening?

Why are we still asking this question in 2021? Adobe, are you listening?

As was stated before - not having this in the software from day 1 is surprising enough, not having implemented it by now is RIDICULOUS.
