Request for Enhanced Animated Caption Options and AI Features in Premiere Pro

I edit videos every month, and having to export them to Filmora (in my case) just to add subtitles is an absolute headache... It really is crazy that, at this point, a software like Premiere Pro still doesn't have a decent animated subtitle generator. 🤦‍♂️

This should be a must in the so called “standard of industry” editing software.

As I said on the other options on “what should we build next?”-poll from the 17th of september 2026: I find AI to be garbage and I think creative workers or trades people, who see themselves as artisans, should never use such nonsense. The value in creative work comes from human skill and intellect.

Why do we have to vote on something that’s free on CapCut and other platforms? I’m using Adobe Premiere Pro, and I shouldn’t have to vote on a highly popular and sought after feature, especially when Adobe claims to be the standard 

Agree! Every other sofware has it alredy. And please add more other languages too, for transcribing.

100% agree. And it would be awesome to have a better Premiere iOS/Andriod app. I would pay an extra suscription to that app.

Honestly, having to switch to CapCut just to get a proper transcription and apply animation presets to my video lyrics—instead of spending hours doing it manually in Premiere every time—is driving me further away from Adobe. Premiere's transcription is good for spoken text—especially when it's very clear and free of interference—but don't even think about using it for a song; the result is terrible.As professional software, I prefer it to CapCut, of course—and I’ve been using it for 30 years—but times change, and what’s needed now are tools that save time and help creating contents more quickly and efficiently. There are essential tools for content creators that apps like CapCut have successfully implemented, and it feels like Adobe is still somewhat stuck in the past. So I support the request.

I would think there’d be dynamic word highlight since in transcript view there is 😅 Now we just need the ability to actually.. add it to our videos haha
