Revert Masking Changes

This is a rant post. The new Masking Features in Premiere Pro are painful. If I want elaborate masking, I’ll go to Photoshop or After Effects. Adding 5 clicks to every time I wanna mask seriously slows my workflow down. I am considering staying on a 2025 patch because this is so frustrating. I dont wanna mask with AI, I dont wanna have to click 25 different things, it was marvelous as it was. Simple. For a simple sequencer like premiere. This is not After Effects. Would be a fever dream if you revert but I know theres no way. AI takin over

      It’s the same masking “engine” as in Ae, you jest get a few more controls ‘revealed’ over there. So the going to Ae is kind of curious to me.

       

      Yea, i understand the frustration especially if you are still trying to work just as before. The patterns  now are very different ... and for most, work as well or better. If you work with the new system, not like as before.

       

      But I get the need to rant. It’s so freaking different.
