Rolling titles that are easy to edit

I would like to request a feature in Adobe Premiere for a rolling title tool that works well with large amounts of text. I am trying to do credit rolls for TV programs. These credit rolls are a fraction the size of feature film credits, but still. When the paragraph box becomes quite long, the UI becomes so sluggish, that if I wish to highlight a word to edit, delete, etc., it takes up to 5-seconds to just select. Then, when trying to type, the response from keyboard press to actual character appearing on-screen is so slow, it makes it very difficult to type. So, in a nutshell, the longer the text box, the slower the UI becomes.

This is on a PC with 64GB of RAM i9-13900K, RTX 4090. I think it’s not the machine or config.

Not to bring up the past, but the old “Title Tool” used to have no problems with this.

This has been a working problem for me for years.

A look at improvement on the Essential Graphics Tool would be greatly appreciated. For example there is still a need for a text crawl (which became unavailable once the title tool was deprecated).
