Romanian speech-to-text language pack

YES for this ideea. We want it! We need it!

Dear Adobe Premiere Pro Team,

First of all, thank you for developing such a powerful and intuitive Speech to Text feature. As a video editor and content creator, I can confidently say that this functionality has significantly improved workflow efficiency and accessibility. It’s a true game-changer for anyone working with video content that requires subtitles or transcriptions.

However, I would like to kindly request the addition of Romanian language support to the Speech to Text feature.

Why is this important?

1. Romanian is spoken by over 24 million native speakers and used daily in Romania, Moldova, and by large communities across Europe (Italy, Spain, Germany, the UK, etc.). Its exclusion leaves a growing group of users at a disadvantage, unable to fully benefit from one of Premiere Pro’s best tools.

2. Video content in Romanian is growing rapidly, especially on platforms like TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, and Facebook. More and more creators want to produce content with accurate subtitles — both for accessibility and professionalism. The demand is real, and the tools are currently lacking.

3. Workarounds are inefficient: Right now, many Romanian-speaking users rely on third-party tools to generate subtitles, often facing issues like low accuracy, privacy concerns, extra costs, and the lack of seamless integration with Premiere Pro.

4. Accessibility matters: Adding Romanian would make it easier for creators to add captions for people who are deaf or hard of hearing, as well as for audiences who watch videos without sound — a growing trend in digital media consumption.

5. Language inclusion is essential: Adobe is known for its commitment to empowering creatives worldwide. Supporting more languages — including Romanian — is a clear step toward embracing global diversity and ensuring that all creators, regardless of their native language, can work with professional tools at full capacity.

I strongly believe that it would make a big difference both for the end-users' experience (the editors) and Adobe's overall community with Romania being a fairly important digital market and growing even more quickly.

Surely with so many other major platforms offering perfected language packs (including main AI companies) and definitely a huge users base there would be a significant voluntary involvment if at all required.

We would love if you could continue developing your language packs for the automatic transcription packs, and I think Romanian would be a greatly appreciated feature by your community, since I've seen many European languageas have already been added as a language pack.

I would love to see Romanian captions in Premiere Pro. This would allow us to stay in Premiere Pro and not migrate to other apps just for doing the captions.

I have been waiting for a very long time for you to add the Romanian language to the text to speech transcription. It seems that we are not so important to you, although we pay the same money for the subscription as those from other countries that already have transcription. I am disappointed with the Adobe team for this. Please consider this and add the Romanian language to the transcription because many Romanians need this feature.

Please prioritize the inclusion of Romanian language support to meet the diverse needs of your users. I urge you to take immediate action on this matter.
