Screenshot to Clipboard

What I'd like to see is a "screen shot" command/kb shortcut.  It would take a screen shot of the program window contents at full video resolution and park it on the clipboard, rather than saving it as a file. It would operate like Snipping Tool but without having to draw the area.

Then the screenshot can be pasted into an email, document or slide without having to save and import.
