select multiple but not ALL tracks with Track Select Forward

I wish PP had a modifier to allow me not just to select one track with the track select forward tool, but to then add other tracks - but not all of them, as with the unmodified behaviour. I want to move some tracks of dialogue, and associated synced sound effects, but I don't want to move the video or the audio bed underneath... I have to lock tracks and then unlock them. That's not a properly working feature, that's a workaround. 

(I used to be able to do this in FCP 7!)
