Because there can be a key moment in a clip that you want to align with a certain audio accent. E.g.: a video of someone slamming a door. You want to align the moment that the door closes exactly with a kick drum. When the CTI is placed on that kickdrum audio, we should be able to use the slip tool to align the video to it.
