size, lock and glue tools window to project timeline window

It would be great if the tool or audio meter window could be sized just once, locked and glued to another window like the project timeline.

Somehow I find myself frequently resizing a 3" wide audio meter or 3" wide tool window in order to get the project timeline maximized in size.

No editor prioritizes sizing of his audio meters or tools window over his project timeline while editing.


Please offer a way to set, glue and forget.
