Solo audio track/s with shortcut

Solo audio track/s with shortcut. It would be good if you could select a clip in the timeline and then using a shortcut (lets say option+S) it then solos that track. I find when editing, it helps to be able to quickly solo tracks so that you can concentrate on individual elements and then unsolo to hear the results. This shortcut could also work with more than one track

    +1 — such a basic quality of life addition.

     

    While we're at it, a shortcut to clear ALL solos and another for ALL mutes.

      Yes, yes!!! I don't understand why Adobe didn't do it yet. It would be so useful and timesaving.

      This would be fantastic, and may I add, in the same vein, it would be great if the premiere extendscript API allowed access to setting/getting the solo status of clips.

      Would be nice to have these shortcuts:

      Solo target track by: opt + S + Num 1 - 9.
      Mute target track by: opt + cmd + S + Num 1 - 9.

      Great. Still don't understand why this can't be done yet , only focus for example on quick export and similar solutions, which are cool , but lack such improvements for professional work

      Yes, please! Upvoted. Would make my life so much easier. I'm considering getting a control surface just for this functionality, but it would be great if I didn't have to.

      Yes! Thank you! I was so surprised to see I'm not able to assign a keyboard short cut for that function. It would be so helpful to have it!
