Sort clips in timeline based on clip name

I want to submit a feature request.

Sometimes, let's say in the case of event footage, the clips should be sorted by name, so that they appear chronologically on the timeline. In all modern cameras, recorded clip names are unique and in this way we can assume the chronological order of the clips.

However, when someone inserts a bin in the timeline, sometimes this order isn't kept. One can only keep it if they select the first clip and then hold shift and select all the way down the last one. If this doesn't happen, there is always the danger of the clips getting a random order.

So, when a first selection and in-out process has been completed, there is no way for these clips to be sorted on the timeline!

I suggest a feature which will rearrange the clips, based on name, timcode, label, fps or other parameters.
