Stop Premiere from adding "copy" to asset names when they are duplicated

In photoshop, you can set the settings so that when you copy a layer, it doesn't add the word "copy" to the new title.

Premiere should also have this feature, plus the ability to choose how duplicate files are appended. Premiere currently adds “Copy 01” and successive numerical values to each copy of the original. I would want the numerical value to be added, but starting with “_02” (since the original, which isn’t numbered, would still be the first), but the word “copy” not included. This also prevents extra long file names when copying copies - e.g. “Name copy 01 copy 01” instead would be “Name_01_01”. Or have an additional setting to make it default to making the new copy be in sequential order to the existing numerical thread - in other words. If there are 5 files… going up to Name_05, and you copy Name_02, then the duplicate would become Name_06.

Batch renaming would also be a helpful feature. Highlight a group of clips, enter an asset name, and direct premiere how to sequentialize them - e.g. “_01 through _05”
