Support for OGG audio files

Request to allow us to import ogg files into Premiere Pro. I just finished organizing tons of ogg files in different folders for a project not knowing premiere doesn't support it. The only third party "plugin" I could find was an unfinshed beta made over 10 years ago. So now I'm going through the nightmare of converting them all to wav or mp3 and reorganize all the converted files.

MKV (H.264) is back on the support list.

We used to be able to import it on some older versions, but Adobe dropped support for that along with MKV because keeping all that source code up to date was "too much work". If you ask me, for the obscene price tag Adobe products come with, this should not be an excuse. Just Adobe being Adobe, I guess.

Thanks for raising this: same problem for me. I was using Audacity with an ffmpeg add-on to convert ogg vorbis audio files to mp3 so as to use them in Premiere, and it used to be easy as pie, but that now doesn't work any more - even with Audacity's official help to install the latest LAME files (whatever they are!). I've changed my OS for another reason, so that I've gone down to Big Sur from High Sierra (another story), and maybe that's a reason. Any help gratefully received.
