swiping gestures not needed for zoom in and out all the time.

this feature creates more problems than help. 

could you at least make it optional? with apple wireless mouse or trackpod its so easy to swipe lightly with one finger and it's happening over and over again like a hundred times everyday of edditing. why would I need to zoom in and zoom out rapidly? changing between tabs with swipe, why?
