Sync project bin with a local folder

When in the middle of a Premiere Pro project, I often add content to my project's local folder on my PC, where the original video/image files are stored. The problem is that these new files are not added to my project bin within Premiere Pro automatically - I have to manually add them each time.

Having the option to sync my project bin with a local folder on my PC would save me a lot of time and energy manually moving files into the bin.

Adobe, please implement this feature!

I happily upvoted this. Though I do agree with Kes that the two plug-ins he mentioned are relatively cheap.

I work for/with/teach pro colorists. Based in Resolve or Baselight, both of which have MANY built-in effects.

And virtually all of them have full Boris and other effects suites, at maybe $600/yr per suite. And listen to editors whine about $20 effects packages  ... while rolling their eyes.

They tend to think we're a bunch of cheapos.

Everyone's mileage always varies ...

It's not a basic feature when compared to other pro NLEs on the market. Neither Avid, FCPX or even Resolve afaik can do that. I agree that it should be an "advanced" feature for power users but most new users aren't going to know how to manage it off the bat. $25-$60 is relatively cheap when it pays for itself in one gig but to each their own

Thank you for sharing these. Expense is relative - I find $25 or $60 a high price for such a basic feature which should be natively built into PR.

There's 2 extensions that currently do this which are pretty inexpensive: WatchTower and ProIO
