Sync Videos with Captions/Subtitles

When editing short-term reels or other projects with captions, I often still need to make additional adjustments after subtitles have been added. However, there is currently no option to always link captions/subtitles to their corresponding video or audio tracks so that I always have to move the subtitles afterwards.

It would be immensely helpful to have a feature that allows syncing captions/subtitles with video or audio tracks, similar to how audio and video can be linked together. This would ensure that any edits—such as trimming or repositioning clips—keep captions perfectly aligned with their associated content, saving time and avoiding errors.

There are 2 issues here. The "text-editing" workflow keeps the TRANSCRIPTION linked with clips, so they follow as edits are made. This was a huge advance. And you can see the text content, in the text panel, as you play the timeline.

The recommended workflow is to do the editing and then create the captions.

But it is true that seeing the captions as you play is useful. I create captions, make any corrections in the transcript, and recreate them as needed.

But a problem is that captions often spill over an edit point, and there are request to keep the caption constrained by an edit point. There are feature requests to address that.
