I am using text based editing. and I want to isolate a word that is used often in the video.. I have put the word in the search and it highlights it.. but instead of deleting that word I want premiere to ONLY keep that word and delete everything else.

anyone have any good ideas.. the video is SUPER long so it's not easy to just to delete all but the word it would take a long time..

I can't think of an automatic way.... "Used often" could be 20 or 200 occurrences, but here's a manual option.

Search for it to highlight all the occurrences. Dag select from the beginning to occurrence one. Delete. Now drag select from the end of occurrence one to two, etc.

What is your actual goal? With text editing, that will leave tiny bits of video....
