Text search progress indicator

Text editing it an amazing feature. But in a long interview, the response time to see you result can be quite slow. But there's no quick way to see if PP is actively searching or if it just didn't find anything. Some kind of progress indicator would be great to indicate that PP is tring to find it, found it or found nothing. I"m thinking a small colored dot:

if yellow, it's searching,

if red, no results,

if green, it's done and here is the first result.

Same question! That would be a very useful function.

While on the subject: if I find myself way down a long list of search results (e.g result 57 of 86) ....is there a way (shortcut or modifier key) to jump to the top (or the bottom) of the results?

Yes! I see that now. Thank you. That said, there can be a delay at times so I'm still yearning for a more visible indicator - closer to the search window space. But that's me. I may be alone.

@FPS_Fish I like where you're coming from here, but, I think we want to improve search times so as to make this kind of thing unnecessary.

When there are no results you should see a "No results" message just above the transcript on the right side. If there are results you'll see something like "1/18 results" indicating which of the results is actively selected out of the total number of results.

In your long transcript examples, do you see either of those while it's in the in-between, still searching phase?
