The option to have keyframes use linear spatial interpolation by default, instead of auto beizer!

After Effects has this option, and for good reason! Auto bezier leads to all sorts of unintentional movement. This is especially newb-unfriendly.

Obviously the programmer of this monstrosity uses alot of "moving" text. He/she didnt think that a person editing may want to match up the EXACT location of dynamic text with a static text in the timeline. I don't care if they call it "bad editing" but I nest alot of things to speed up encoding and to copy that nested text thoughout the entire project (then I sometimes copy that nest and edit that text to certain situation, then make a nest out of that modified text. This goes on and on) so I MUST match dynamic text in a nest to a static text outside the nest. (Does this make sense 2 u people) I do this technique probably over 100 times just in one project so if theres a hidden Bezier keypoint in that text it can get copied everywhere. U know Ive learned before I create a nest to MAKE DAMN SURE THAT THE TEXT DOESNT HAVE ANYTHING OTHER THEN LINEAR TEXT. It takes yet another step while editing a 200 hour long project (which like I said before I make these every month because it take a month to edit). One oversight could cost me hours of laborious work to GET RID of the BEZIER (change back to linear) and another 16-20 hours to re-encode it.

Anyway I have learned to check check check before creating a nest with Bezier text in it !

EVERY STINKING TIME I PUT A KEYPOINT ON TEXT BAM ! THERE'S the Benzer keypoint.

This needs to be implemented so badly...

Spent like 20 mins ready to chuck my PC wondering why a png had a mind of it own.

If u force us to use bezier keypints the Adobe U better use better precision rounding.  Like  rounding to .000001 ! I programmed CNC machinery way back when and if I didn't round to the nearest .000001 the errors would accumulate and without warning the CNC machinery would "jump" to correct itself.  Yeah, I understand the problem but why don't u do anything about it.  It comes down to two options.  STOP THE Bezier default or use better precision when finding text locations.  It's that simple. I think everyone would be willing to give up one micro second per event when encoding text then to have to spend hours finding every single text that u  forced us to use the freakin Bezier key points. What the hell is the matter with u lazy/unwilling  people over. there!?  JFC  get with it.

I think I c how they tried to work around this problem of the text coming off a continuous/auto bezier.  I wondered why when u use the up arrow 2 jump to the end of a clip it jumps 1 frame past the viewable end of said clip and that is where the bezier stops too.  I think this is Adobes way of preventing actually seeing the movement(jump into realignment) of the text as it comes off the last bezier keyframe and starts viewing the text in the next video clip which is in the exact same location but is a (regular) linear text.

I'd sometimes try to correct that little jump as it comes off a bezier keypoint by placing yet another keypoint at the last viewable frame of the video knowing that the end of the video clip is 1 frame past the actual viewable frame.  I don't know if I'm explaining it clearly but…

O and another extra thing u must do with the latest version of PP is that when u open PP the preview window is at 100% now and not how u left if during the last session. Sure the last software update centered the view but it kept it at the same "zoom-in" level so u just had to move the zoomed in center back to where u were working.  Now u have 2 do one more step. Its not a big big deal it’s just one more thing u must do. All those little extra things add up.

Agreed.  Such a frustrating default option requiring way too many mouse clicks to switch to what should be the default.  Adobe please listen to the many comments in agreement.  Been dealing with this for over a decade and I just cant stand wasting so much time manually doing this every time.

Oh and one more thing,  I aint a newbe!  Ive been using AE and PP sinc the late 1990's. I aint no rookie.  Something's are overlooked/forgotten when projects like I do are edited for over a month before I get to encoded them and watch for the very 1st time.

Then that really sucks when u have to wait 14+ hours to encode each of the 30 to 40 minute parts.  Only 2 find out Adobe forces benzier keys on u and when motion text comes to stop and what appears 2 b a perfect location with a static text. AND IT DOES NOT JUMP TO ANOTHER LOCATION ON THE TIMELINE.  BUT after u spend all that time encoding,  THEN U C THE MIS-ALIGNMENT.  AND GET FURIOUS.  why cant u c that misaligned text on the timeline if its there!?  Why?  Pee me off!

I just wasted 14hrs encoding a text with beziar interpolation that I copied thry out the entire 3 hr project. After seeing the error it took me 2 more hrs to figure it was the stupid benzier keyfremes.  O m g ! After 6 hr if fixing the problem  I came here only 2 c EVERYBODY'S got this problem WTF !

To fix this problem this program routine must be very deeply rooted into the software or I feel they would have fixed it by now.  FIX THE FUYKIN THING ! FOR CHRISTMAS,  FIX THE FYCKIN THING.
