The "umms" removed from clips

Hi,

It would be great to have all "ums", or maybe any requested words to be removed from clips in the timeline.

This might be something for AI to handle.

Regarding the remaining jump clip, I overlay B roll to eliminate that issue.

Or, what if Generative Extend could seamlessly blend the two clips together? It's usually just a slight head movement thats the issue.

Cheers.

@Greg @ Caprice,

Yes, I wasn't clear, but I think I understand.

The current functionality shows [Filler] in the transcript. Filtering by Filler Words and deleting one by one or in bulk, you can pick Extract (removes [Filler] and adjusts transcript time and ripple deletes video/audio tracks) or Lift (removes [Filler] and does not change transcript time and deletes video/audio tracks but leaves gap in video/audio).  You can also lock tracks to avoid changing them, but locking only video or audio etc can throw it out of sync.

I think you want a "transition" version, which removes [Filler], adjusts transcript time as needed, and creates an AI generated transition for the video to disguise the jump cut.

Thanks Stan for the link but that doesn't really answer the issue.

I'm guessing that the word "um" won't appear in the captions but I assume it's still audible in the clip.

What I would like to see is that PP can delete the "ums" in the audio track and, if chosen, delete from the visual clip too (although this would create jump clips).

@Greg @ Caprice,

For deletion of "umms" see "Filler Word Detection with bulk delete" here:

Upvoted for the idea of using a generative transition.
