Tracking video and audio usage inside a production

Video uusage and audio usage in bin metadata display need to be tracked through different projects in a production. On many occasions it would be important to know exactly in which sequences and projects a certain file has been used in a production. Now it seems that video and audio usage is tracked only within one project but this doesn't work if I have individual projects for music, audio or graphics and edit final sequences in different project inside the production.

This would be super helpful when making music or archival reports ina bigger project.
