Transcript audio only edits

The text based editing with the new Transcript feature is great; however, you are currently only able to edit both the audio and video at the same time. It would be useful to have features for audio only edits, such as "bleeping" curse words, or redacting names. The current work around is to delete without ripple, drag the video clip to re-fill the gap, and manually add a tone if desired. 

Please add an option to bleep or remove audio only in the Transcript feature. 

An option to gently lower the audio to avoid pops (eg, default fade "constant power" transition of 0.5 seconds) would be nice as well.
