Transitions presets!

One of the things that I miss about good old Final Cut 7 is to be able to store my presets of transitions. Meaning I could have my custom setting of a transition and also my prefered duration of transitions ready to drop to a timeline clip at any time.

And I'm not talking about the default transition, I want to be able to set presets of as many transitions as I want. Including the transitions from plugins.
This is so I don't have the search for a transition and then adjust its settings and duration each time. It would be time saver, like in FCP 7.

Mind you I was still in my first few years of editing so I didn't know the media management stuff I know now

Do you mean the General Error dialog box?

While I don't miss that, I do miss that we never got Final Cut Pro 8.

Brings back so many memories. Especially the out of memory errors I would get from poor media management

A few versions back we got the ability to make custom cross dissolve, but later on it was removed from the program.

Real transitions, yes it's possible, cause it was possible is FCP 7.
