V23 BLD 63: SIMPLE CROSS DISSOLVES ON TITLES NO LONGER FUNCTIONS
In Monterey 12.6.1
WTF??? I'm dissolving title cards. They work fine as fades, but I can no longer Cross Dissolve one title card into the next! It plays as a butt cut, I've cleared the cache, rebooted, etc.
I have to go back to physical overlaps one track over the other, you know, the way the lab did it on 16mm film 40 years ago????
Real kid stuff. BTW, titles generated in Essential Graphics, currently one of the least appealing, unfriendly title tools on the planet. There's nothing quite like drawing your attention from the composing screen text- one of its better features-- to search for kerning, leading and all the other nifty font manipulation tools --in a completely separate panel.
But that's a complaint for later. This is just weird behavior, and likely a bug.
