Video and Audio Usage Data across projects in a Production

Hi,

My team uses Productions almost exclusively now as its been a real boost to collaboration and oragnsiation.

What we are struggling with is the Video and Audio usage collumn not updating across different projects inside the Production.

All i would like is to be able to go to the video or audio usage collumn, see the amount of times a clip is being used, and in what project and sequence it is being used in. Then, select one and have it open/navigate me to the relevant project and sequence within the Production.

This was extremely helpful with stand alone Project files as occassionally, we need to update videos by removing people who have not yet renewed their contract. This is an easy way to do it, whilst also making sure we arent missing any clip.

Is there a way to make this happen?

Absolutely agree, my assistants are crying for this as a feature

Yes, I'm missing this feature as well, maybe because of different reason. I'm often working large documentary projects, where I make hundreds of preliminary edits of scenes and situations where the same material can be used in different scenarios. Working in a project, I use the Video Usage or Audio Usage A LOT to find where I have used a certain clip before, and all the versions of a scene where it's used before. That usage list gives me an instant overview of what sequences involves the clip, However, it does not work across projects in a production. It only references the usage within the project. This is actually the main reason why I ordinarily prefer not to work in a production setting. Sounds minor, I know, but I've totally made myself addicted to the video usage, and even if Productions has so much to offer for managing huge projects on many other levels, this is a dealbreaker for me.

I 1000% second this. This is by FAR the biggest feature IMHO that needs to be added to productions. It's absolutely insane we cannot track down usage of clips across a production. ESPECIALLY when someone new comes on board or needs to do a cue sheet etc.
