Video n Audio transition length field on timeline

Do others agree that it is a great idea to have an easy access field on the timeline to put video and audio transition frame number? Currently, we have to go into a preference submenu. This seems cumbersome. It is a number I have to change often. Does anyone feel the same way?

I think I stand alone.  I'm used to it.  Thanks for your input.

Again FWIW: You can also grab the transition handle (new recent feature) and move the transition length in and out. Plus it shows you the length of the transition when you are dragging it.

FWIW: You can change the duration in Preferences/Timeline, I think that’s what you are referring to, but you can change the dropdown to ‘Seconds’ from the default ‘Frames’ and say set it to 1 second. That way it works for both 30fps, 24 and 25 Sequence timebase without having to change it.

Yes, I was hoping to have that function without having to go into the preferences. It would be easier to have a field with those parameters right out in the open on the the timeline. Is that something anyone would want besides me? I could make a video to show my workflow and why it would be very convenient to it. Thanks for responding.
