Why doesn't Adobe Premiere Pro have a built-in video background remover like Adobe Express?

I've noticed that Adobe Express includes a very useful video background remover, which is super helpful for quick edits. I'm wondering why this feature hasn't made its way into Premiere Pro yet.

Given that Premiere Pro is a professional-grade editor, it feels like a basic background removal tool (without needing green screens or complicated rotoscoping) would be a huge help—especially with so many creators working solo or needing quick turnaround times.

Is there a reason this hasn't been integrated yet? Or is it something Adobe is working on for future updates?

I was wondering about this also. I really hate CapCut, but I find myself paying a monthly subscription to CapCut while I already have my Adobe subscription solely to use the AI background remover for quick edits.

Can Adobe team explain why this isn't an option in Premiere Pro.

I know After Effect have rotescoping but it doesn't run smoothly on my pc and it's overall frustrating when used for quick eidts

The interesting thing is the professional video post apps have far fewer automated effects than the prosumer ones. Because the professional users typically wanted full control, not an automated thing.

But more automated things are coming in over time.
