Changes made to the Workspaces Panel via "Window/Workspaces/Edit Workspaces.." are not saved after restarting Premiere.

I've probably added the proxy button on the program layout 20 times now, and it never saves. Wtf?

Still a big problem. It makes me not want to sink time into saving workspaces because I know I'm just going to need to rearrange my panels anyways.

Main issue is that window sizes are not retained. I like to undock a panel or two so I can maximize a panel out of a group, but still have a collection of panels available to use across the rest of my screen. But workspaces just full screens the "main" panel every time so I have to slowly find the edge of the window and manually resize the undocked panels.....

see how anoying that is?
And then I have to go to the Adobe user voice forums, find the right issue I think has the most votes and describes my issue well enough, take the time to write up a helpful and informative problem I'm having, and still hope I have enough time in my day to do my job well and balance work/life.

Cheaper than therapy I guess.
Anyways, Adobe, I'd love it if you just made rock-solid products instead of adding feature bloat. Thanks.

This is still a problem for me as well. It is infuriating to deal with. Please find a fix. Thanks!

Adobe seems to care less and less about their customers. It boggles my mind that a professional company releases sofware with bugs like this and MUCH WORSE. Ive had bugs that consume my day and often more but Adobe refuses to do anything. Imagine if this was a car and people were having problems like this driving?! GET YOUR S**T TOGETHER ADOBE so I can stop telling people to stay away from your product.

Still a problem for me. It saves everything except one panel that I always have to move into the correct spot.

I had the same issue after installing Premiere on a new computer, but I DID FIND A SOLUTION!
Make sure that the "Import workspace from projects" option is clicked in the window-workspaces tab. That's what solved the issue for me.

I've never had this problem in my life before on a MAC. Now that I've changed to Windows, whenever I restart my computer I always lose all my panels, I can't also sync it with other computers. This is insane in 2021...

It's not September, 2020, I just reinstalled a clean PPro and After Effects. I went to Sync my After Effects preferences along with my workspace settings...... and..... and....
AS USUAL, THE WORKSPACE SETTINGS ARE NOT THERE.

Why Adobe, oh why can't you fix this insane small problem?? What is the point of having a cloud to upload your settings to, when the cloud lets them evaporate in thin air?? Is it some kind of twisted joke again our faithful clients?

FIX IT. PLEASE. It's annoying and time consuming re designing and building custom work spaces knowing that should've just taken a click.

One day soon, people will say "wow, Da Vinci killed Adobe!" and what they'll actually mean is "Adobe killed Adobe".

Get it together!
