Prioritize In/Out Timeline Selection Over Clip Selection for Copy

When I set In and Out points in the Timeline to mark a specific section I want to copy (for example, to bring into another sequence), Premiere often copies whatever clip happens to still be selected elsewhere in the Timeline instead of the actual In/Out range I've marked.

This means I have to manually deselect all clips first (Cmd+Shift+A / Ctrl+Shift+A) every time before copying, just to make sure the In/Out selection actually takes priority over any leftover clip selection.

Resolve handles this great, when you set In/Out points, that becomes the priority selection for copy, regardless of whether a clip elsewhere is still individually selected. Resolve actually just recently added the ability to deselect a clip in the Timeline this way too, and it's a genuinely great addition. I'd love to see Premiere adopt the same logic: when In/Out points are active in the Timeline, copy should default to that highlighted range rather than a separately selected clip, without needing to deselect everything first.

This would save a small but frequent extra step in everyday editing, especially when moving sections between sequences.
