change theme of code on adobe community

I’m not liking these new changes to the Adobe community forums. In particular there doesn’t appear to be a way of changing the theme when adding code:

This is my code;
Isn't it lovely;
What lovely code.
hello world!

Javascript as well as the other languages appear to be a Dark theme.

Which is all find and dandy if you are viewing everything else on a dark theme. Some of us who suffer from palinopsia when looking at high contrast images really don’t need this.

At least give us an option or some semblance of control to have everything as light or dark theme.

Otherwise these forums are a literal (and actual) headache.

    @Ghoul Fool At least give us an option or some semblance of control to have everything as light or dark theme.

    I agree with this completely. Dark mode should always be only an option in addition to the default light mode.

    It’s true that many people, indeed, prefer dark mode. However, there are also plenty of people (majority?) who don’t tolerate it well for various reasons. I simply find text in dark mode much less legible, and the code is harder to understand than in the normal light mode.

    I'll add this to the list of feature requests for the new forums.
