@Misprintedzedruu You need to gather many people to upvote this idea. The current two votes are even not enough to tickle their feet.

If you see a ChatGPT answer, you know that it is a ChatGPT (or the same) answer. If you do not see it, it probably is not.

the upvote is meaningless (afaik).  i would think a downvote would be equally meaningless.

@Abambo the problem is that half the time people regergitate non-answers as solutions.  Not talking about spammers, but well intended users who offer up what they are doing to get around whatever the problem is.  I want to downvote those answers so that future viewers know its a bad answer from the perspective of other users.

Also though, spammers as identified in Janes comment, are people who use chat gpt to get answers.  How are others suppose to know that's was the commenter used? Try the solution, see that it doesnt work, then report it?

or, you know, we could have a downvote botton.

I suspect what is really going on is that adobe doesnt want thier staff getting unrelated downvotes due to users being upset with the company about whatever whatever.  Harder to moderate button click counters than it is to moderate comments.

As Jane said, for spammers there is the report button. And moderators can delete posts when the posts get disturbing. Downvoting has been discussed multiple times, and it has been decided against.

(But if you want to post suggestions tat have a chance to be considered, you need to choose the correct forum. The Photoshop forum is not the correct one to post requests concerning the forum software. I'll move this to the correct forum for you.)

I am also very much for this idea for all the reasons stated here.

People who offer non-solutions to the questions being asked only waste everyones time.

But maybe those features should be implemented - and again, they post the "why would you want to do that?" in their OP, so again, if you don't have a solution, don't be a problem.

Very true and I am not discounting those "supportive" comments as they help toward an end goal. Which I would assume is obvious...
