distort not working

Toolbar< Filter< Distort. Distort tool is not working, it is grey from around 1 month. I am using an updated version of photoshop, latest computer configuration. Please resolve the issue as I need it urgently.

Is your image perhaps 16 bits/color? Photoshop restricts specific legacy or resource-heavy filters (like Filter > Distort) to 8-bit mode.

@kind_realist53d3 Make sure you select the layer. If no layer is selected, none of the Filters will be selectable.
