Flash Player (read-only)

Hello all,I manage an app that uses Flash to, among other things, receive file uploads from users. As of the release of 30.0.0.113, file uploads in Firefox Windows are no longer working correctly.Files do upload... but instead of waiting for the upload to complete before triggering fileRefListener.onComplete, it's just triggered right away. This causes a problem because I need to collect information about the uploaded file after it's processed and not waiting for upload completion means that information is not yet available.I'm not experiencing this issue on any other combination of OS/browser including Firefox Mac. Any ideas? As the title says I'm looking for the old ActionScript Lite 3.x language reference.It used to be available at http://help.adobe.com:80/en_US/as2/reference/flashlite/index.html however recently (within the last 4 months or so) it seems to have been taken down.I understand this is an old and unsupported version of flash and as such I don't expect Adobe to support or host it anymore however I would love an offline download (something like what is offered for ActionScript 3 here).I've already looked at the wayback machine but while it does seem to have some of the content most of it appears to be lost.

Flash Player for movies and gives me an error message saying that I need to update to the newest version and gives a link. When I  the link and install the newest version I still get the same message. I checked add-ons Firefox and Adobe Flash Player doesn't show up as an  add-on or plug-in. What is the problem?

I've recently updated to Flash Player 30 and suddenly am unable to use or embed swf content in PowerPoint (Office 365). I just get errors that 'Some controls on this presentation can't be activated. They might not be registered on this computer'. When attempting to embed new swf content using the Shockwave Flash Object I get an error 'System Error &H80004005'. Everything was working fine with Flash Player 29.It looks to me like the ActiveX is being blocked in PowerPoint. Is there any way to enable it. My security settings within PowerPoint have not changed between version 29 working and now.We have a large number of products which embed flash content within PowerPoint presentations and we would appreciate some guidance on how to fix this.Thanks,Tim

Good day kind people.I am experiencing an issue with Flash that I did not experience prior to recent days.  I am using the up-to-date Flash player 30.0.0.113I belong to an online Karaoke site (www.singsnap.com) which uses Flash as its base.  In order to sing live in the chat room, I must enable "Stereo Mix" in my "Recording Devices" and make it my default communication device.  I also have my Yeti Blue Mic enabled.  Together with those two settings, I can sing live in the chatroom with sound being collected from my microphone mixed with the sound coming from the website.  I open a second tab, look up the song and I play that song.  The music player/recorder also uses Flash as well.The issue I am having is that the sound for the website is not playing through the normal FireFox volume control, rather it is playing through a Flash Container which does NOT allow me to mix it with Stereo Mix.  The Firefox volume control is silent.  Muting it does not

I got my MacBook Pro 13inch 2017 two weeks ago, and I downloaded flash player because I need to use it, as well as other family members. however, after ten minutes of being on the website which requires flash player to run, my Mac begins to overheat, making the keys very  hot to touch. my cpu was over 100 at one point.I have downloaded the latest version of the software, and contacted apple to see if its a problem with them, but they said to ask adobe so here I am.does anybody have any advice of how I can resolve this, so that I can use websites which require flash player without my Mac overheating? thank you

Greetings -A few weeks back I had an issue with Flash Apps rendering if Firefox v52.7 or newer was used AND Flash Player v27 or newer was used.Flash Apps Issues with Specific Combinations of Flash and Firefox The solution to that issue was to change our wmode  for flash apps from "transparent" to "direct".  We didn't realize at the time that doing that caused several of our Javascript pop-ups to now fall behind the AS3 apps and appear as if they never opened.  Toggling the wmode back to "transparent" fixed the pop-ups, but then we have the rendering issue again.We can set wmode to "transparent" and then (via about:config) change the dom.ipc.plugins.asyncdrawing.enable to FALSE, this does appear to solve both problems.  However, we have a very large user base on "closed" networks so if we can find a solution that doesn't mean having to change Firefox's settings that would be ideal.Any ideas?Thanks,Scott

Hello,I've received the Adobe Software distribution confirmation email with the link to download Flash Player, Shockwave and Adobe Reader.  Unfortunately the Flash Player link doesn't work as all I see is a webpage titled Adobe Flash Player Distribution.  The Shockwave and Reader links work fine.Can you help??
