I've been trying to uninstall Adobe Flash remotely to 100+ Machines. I've been using the Adobe flash uninstall.exe file. But it doesn't remove the flash.ocx file. The flash.ocx file is locked by the "trustedinstaller". Even with administrative rights the file still can't be deleted. I need to do this for 100+ Machines so a cmd command would be great! (Windows 10)
I need to build package to uninstall shockwave silently in windows environment ...any suggestions???

Hi, My university uses Flash Player for all our online lectures. I understand that Google Chrome has Flash Player pre-installed, but how can I uninstall it off of Google Chrome? I am blocked out of all my lectures with the notification "Adobe Flash Player is out of date" and "Adobe Flash Player is blocked because it is out of date." If I follow the links to uninstall it for Chrome, it just tells me to "Install Flash Player" even though it expired December 31, 2021. Please help!
The Adobe Flash uninstaller is NOT working on Microsoft Edge running on Windows 10 Pro version 2004. HP is saying to get a hold of Adobe.
Since you deactivated flash on my computer (yes I know there was EOL with no more updates, but this no reason to send a kill command to the software, which I'm not sure is a legal action on your part) This KILL COMMAND has renderd numerous HP's regular and wide format printers useless, which uses solution center management software to operate. along with numerous programs. Is there a stand alone program will operate installed programs and not internet based. and I find previous Adobe employee remarks insulting relating to its old and just by a new equipment, whith COVID may companies and Fammilies are just haniging on by a thread.I wait your responce!
As flash support My ERP Ramco is not running as for browser Ramco require Flash playerCan any one give soluton for that Regards/Harshit

Hello all,I was able to set up a domain exception, both for Google Chrome and Internet Explorer, in order to unblock the LMS platform of my company. I am using EnableAllowList and AllowListUrlPattern in a mms.cfg file and it works even with local files, specifing a path starting with "file:///". But the swf files need to be open within one of the mentioned browsers. I was wondering if is possible to unblock an instance of Flash Player which runs inside a software, which is Articulate Storyline 2. Has anyone managed to do something like this?
The End of Life of the Flash Player is a problem for my security cameras. I have a NVR and also use Apple iMacs. Two of my cameras are wifi and use flash to broadcast to my NVR. The feeds died to my NVR with the blocking by Adobe. Individual feeds to my iMac are also blocked by Adobe. Apple generally is not supported by many surveillance manufacturers except through Flash. And these manufacturers will not provide work arounds for their products. Instead of a visual feed, now only a popup shows with a flash symbol. When clicked it takes you to an End of Life page that says that Adobe is protecting you. Protecting me! It's cut out secutity cameras that was protecting me and my property. If Adobe helps me any more I will be a dead man.
Good morning. On January 12, 2021, the browser was blocked from using the adobe flash player. So I solved it by setting the mms.cfg file. However, on January 13th, a day later, web pages containing adobe flash player were loading significantly slower (at least 2 minutes). If you know how to solve these symptoms, please leave a comment. Below is the setting of the mms.cfg file. EnableAllowList=1 AllowListUrlPattern=Web Site Url
So, Flash is my favorite Adobe product. And i want to play flash games on 2021. I know, Flash is dead by the performance issues and unsafeness. But still i loe these games and i want to play them but this pops out:That takes me into the Flash Player EOL Site.
...from pre-end of life kill destroy Flash time - I beleive any Flash rev from 2019 or before would be fine. I have a game I've been playing for almost 30 years that was written using Flash and the game (any rev) no longer works. (WordZap by Mike Crick). On the 12th, like almost every other day for the past 30 years, I called up WordZap for my morning coffee round and **poof!!** wouldn't load. I don't give a rat's ass if having an old version of Flash on my computer will "make it unsafe", because it won't make it unsafe. It's a local machine. Besides, I should be able to make that decision - not just have software "turn itself off" - specially software in use. Anyway, anyone know of a relatively virus/malware/trojan free place to get an older copy of Flash that will install and run on a machine that possible now has an Adobe Flash trojan in it? Thanks for your time and any information you may have.
Hello, As a software developer, i would like to share my experience and my opinion with you. First of all, every product is going to reach it's End-Of-Life date, one day or another. This is the classic Lifecycle or every product on the market, and we are all aware of such things. What you just did, is blocking your own software and killing a lot of application of people that put their trust on your company, in an unilaterally way. They trusted in you ,they bought licences (IE: Flash Builder), spent a lot of time to learn from your own documentation, spent a lot of money on Research and Developement using your technologies and products. You owe them some respect, and at least, their voices must be heard, and not skipped with a single argument like "Security Reasons" or "Deprecation Known since 2017". To be fair, you just crossed the point of no return. With such managments, No one is going to trust on your technologies anymore. You were a big part of tech in the old days,
I need a solution to be able to remove Adobe Flash player from multiple machines remotley. Preferably a command line that I can deploy with Desktop Central. Does anyone use a similar system or know of a method I can use to remove Flash Player from the devices? I have created a configuration to run the uninstaller, which reported successful, but after checking the security portal, all the vulnerabilities are still on the device, after doing some research I realised the flash files may still be present and would need to run another command to delete these, unfortunatley these files will not delete. C:\windows\System32\Macromed\Flash Has anyone else come across this issue, I have had real trouble trying to remove these files and was wondering if anyone would be able to help? Thanks,Zach
I keep getting this message while trying to embed a video in my PDF:To view the flash technology content in this PDF file, please install this version of Flash Player that supports Adobe Acrobat Reader and Adobe Acrobat. Any suggestions?

Still need to be able to run obsolete software in a corporate environment, written by a vendor that no longer exists. It's all well and good to say, "you had plenty of time", but 3 years is *nothing* to a lot of companies. We're running 20-year old code in product, because we have to.For this particular application, no migration path existed for us, and we kind of assumed that there would be *some* kind of workaround. Please re-enable Flash, if only for private networks. In the real world, people don't have control over everything they use, and lecturing customers in a snotty tone about their deficiencies does not help. And let's face it. It's not as though Adobe has a reputation for being good at what they do, or helpful to customers, and this is just one more example of that kind of entitled "we know best" behavior.
