Flash Player (read-only)

Hi, Our website  uses Adobe Flash in order to view it, what do we need to do now? Do I need to change our website? Would appreciate any help![links removed]

Hi all, It has been close to 20 years since I've done any Flash development, which is evidenced by the fact that all of my FLA's were done in AS1. This was to produce a series of interactive electrical circuit animations for teaching purposes.  The SWF's have been satisfactory for all of that time, but now that Flash is no longer to be supported I'm wondering what we need to do to be able to embed these animations in a web page to continue their use. I still have the original FLA's which I have tried to open in Adobe Animate. The graphics are all fine but the ActionScript is not longer there. I have read that we need to convert to HTML5? Will this still allow interactivity? Any advice would be appreciated to allow us to update these files and get the original SWFs replaced on our web pages. Thanks in advance.Steve

Hi,I did a test with a computer for which I changed the date in the future. The result was that I could not access the Flash Player plugin anymore from Chrome and Edge after January 11th (so starting January 12th). Although I perfectly understand that Flash Player stops being supported on December 31st 2020 and that it is not secure to use it after that time, could you please confirm if my test is valid and that without doing any whitelising, Flash Player will continue to work until January 11th? Thank you!

The first time you sign in, you are prompted to change this temporary password." Thats what it said on the guide but i got no email and i dont know where i can find the administrator. I need this for flash player so i can access some important school websites.  i wouldnt be posting here is this wasnt an emergency. PLEASE HELP  

I do not know what Adobe Flash Player is. All I know is that I must be sad.

I got the notification about Flash Player being discontinued. I'm not computer savvy-enough to understand what will happen.  Does this only affect games or does it affect other things?  How would I know what files in the computer require Flash Player or are stored as Flash Player files?  What would I do to switch such files to some other format so they can be viewed/saved?

There are older games that use Flash and will not be "modernized". These games are important to some people, including myself. Blocking Flash from ever being used after EOL is unfair to us. Please just do something like adding a warning about how using the un-supported Flash is unsafe and a "continue at your own risk" button, or something similar.    [Edited by moderator.]

There are Flash Players aka SWF Players out there for playing saved .swf files. Mine works perfectly. Find one that works for you. I can also play things that needed flash player online. So far ive only tested Chrome and Fire Fox with SuperNova SWF Enabler. Its buggy on Fire Fox but all progress takes time. Lots of people are doing what they can to make what once relied on Flash safer and more accessable to everyone. Pretty much playing flash files like they were webassembly files or html5 file. I suggest telling site you like about such things. Flash works best for things with keyboards. Flash has never really been for mobile devices. Most mobile flash players are limited to videos and dont like to play games. After an hour or so from now when adobe stops flash you will need to experiment a bit to see what works for you as I have no idea what device type and version you have. There are standalone swf players that play the swf files you have saved. Finding one should be lots easier than getting your mobile browser to play flash. You will need to find a browser specifically created to play flash content or some program that modifies your existing browser. I doubt there is anything great in that regards right now. I hear the browser Puffin can play flash on mobile devices after 2020. As for others I dont know. Even if you find one it might only do flash videos. I suggest looking through apkpure.com or the google playstore . They have lots of flash / swf players to choose from. Big teck wants flash dead. I dont and neither do plenty of others working hard to preserve a cultural treasure. Flash lives on and can be better than ever with the support of the people. Sites can update the way they do things to allow flash to function normally long after 2020 and with more security than the older ways. I hope everyone... yes you will learn about and tell others of Ruffle, Waflash, Apache Royale, and CheerpX. Amd64's flash util file came out, it deletes another flash, should I delete this too?

I have a very serious issue, if anyone can please help would be highly appreciated. I am a medical student and am 1 month away from my board exams. I purchased expensive practice exams via a service online that sends me emails with links (that do not expire) to their Practice Exams which they have created using QuizCreator Online. I was specifically waiting to begin crash-course taking these exams a month before the exam after having studied a year straight. I haven't been able to get any videos on BitChute to play since the end of 2020 sometime. Is it because the platform needs Flash Player to work? AND, if so, what am I supposed to do to get the videos there and on Vimeo to play? Do I download something else? A replacement for Flash Player?

Hello.  I have Adobe Creative Suite 6 Design and Web Premium.  How do I convert my flash animation that is on my website to play after January 12, 2021?  The packaging says that it is HTML5 for Dreamweaver, although I see only the letters HTML in the coding part in Dreamweaver.  What needs to be done?  Do I have to redo my animation all over again in another program that I do not have?  Or can it be converted in Dreamweaver?  Is Dreamweaver already set at HTML5 even though I do not see the 5 in the coding?  How do I change this if I need to?  What program do I need to use to create or convert the animation and to put onto the website?  My animation can be seen at [link removed] Thank you for your time.

Hello, i have developed a C# Webbrowser with CefSharp (Chromium embedded Framework) i loade the Flash plugin so flash pages still do work. If i dont update my own developed webrowser, like for example stay at CefSharp 83.4.20 & Flash 32.0.0.414, is it still possible to use the webbrowser with its flash after 2020? The thing is that Flash is a mandatory thing for my Webpage and Game. Its 100% nessecary and there is no other way for me around it. So i extra developed the Webbrowser in C# to still continue use Flash. Plugin: pepflashplayer64_32_0_0_414.dllCefSharp: 83.4.20 Please dont mark as spammed. or at least tell me what im doing wrong so its marked as spam Thank you so much!

I have a desktop PC, using Windows 10 and using Google Chrome as my browser. The latest version of Adobe Flash Player is installed on my PC. There are games on Facebook that rewuire the Adobe Flash Player Version 11.3.0. How do I install this and will it interfere with the version I already have?

I play games online that are supported by Flash.  As of today I cannot get into them.  I have uninstalled the program but still cannot get into the games.  Does anyone have any answers or suggestions. Thanks,
